An intimate performance venue, spacious nightclub and romantic dining establishment, The Conga Room is the place to go in LA for Latin Music and Dance.
Open nightly Thursday through Saturday and the occasional Wednesday, The Conga Room presents Salsa music & Salsa orchestras for your listening and dancing pleasure. The Conga Room’s schedule for the weeks and months to come includes LA’s finest local Salsa ensembles, a wide selection of national and international talent including Salsa, Reggaeton, Hip-Hop, R&B, and Soul events. The Cigar Lounge offers a more low key and intimate area to relax. It is sometimes reserved for VIP guests.
Since opening in February of 1998, The Conga Room has presented Celia Cruz, Tito Nieves, José Feliciano, Albita, Cubanismo, Vocal Sampling, Chucho Valdés, Poncho Sanchez, DLG: Dark Latin Groove, Conjunto Céspedes, Ozomatli and Ricardo Lemvo & Makina Loca, The International Sonora Show (formerly known as La Sonora Dinamita), Andy Garcia & Cachao & Eddie Palmieri among others.
Rock en Espanol bands including Moenia, Amigos Invisibles, Rabanes, Lucybell, Orishas, Azul Azul, La Mosca, Fobia, Inspector, Maria Fatal, and Plastilina Mosh have graced our stage. Members of La Ley, Mana, Aterciopelados & Santana have also visited our venue and couldn’t resist getting on stage to make surprise performance much to the delight of our patrons.
